Cecil Center South — Aviation Center of Excellence (ACE) offersprograms to prepare students for jobs in the aviation industry. America is facing a serious industry shortage for aviation technicians, managers, administrators, air traffic controllers and pilots. Projections show that employment will have grown by 14 percent from 1998 to 2008. This is a great time to start your training for a career in aviation, and this is a great place to begin.

FAA Airframe and Powerplant Prep Courses

Do you have previous aviation experience? See what FAA certification in airframe and powerplant mechanics can do for your earning power. Consider that technicians earn an average of $20.16 per hour with certification but only $15.78 without certification. Now, ITS easy and convenient to take FAA test-preparation courses, and the tests themselves, at Florida State College. We are an FAA and Lasergrade approved test center. All FAA testing is open to the community.
