Our Health Care Training Has You Covered

Do you see yourself caring for patients, or helping prepare the operating room for surgery? Maybe you’re racing to the scene of an accident with the siren blaring? In whatever role you see yourself, Florida Coast Career Tech has the health care training to help make it happen.

If patient care is your preference, choose Practical Nursing and we’ll prepare you for the licensing examination to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Or, quickly train for a job as Nursing Assistant. You’ll work closely with physicians and other medical staff in hospital, nursing home or medical office settings attending to patients’ needs. And with many patients unable to venture out of their houses, our Home Health Aide training teaches the skills you need to provide at-home medical care.

It could be the excitement of life and death situations is what you crave. If you’re an emergency medical technician and want to progress to Paramedic, we’ll advance your skills and get you ready for the Florida paramedic certification examination. Or learn Surgical Technology and be part of the surgery team preparing the patients, room and equipment for operations.

Perhaps you see yourself playing a completely different part in the health care scenario. In Medical Assisting, you’ll learn to do everything from running a medical office to assisting physicians during exams. And as a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work with customers taking prescription orders, filing insurance and making sure the drugs are ordered and on hand when needed. Whatever health care function you choose, a better career is in your hands.
