Whether you’re chasing the bad guy or making sure he’s locked up, as law enforcement your job is to keep others safe and secure. If you want to be a protector, on our streets in the thick of the action, we can train you to become a Law Enforcement Officer. Using standards set by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, you’ll learn everything from legal issues and effective communication to firearms and investigation procedures. With the growing prison population, the need for Correctional Officers is vital. Our fast, thorough training in areas like facility operations, defensive tactics, and communication and emergency procedures will have you fully-prepared and ready to start in as little as four months. And, if you’re already a Florida correctional officer and would like to become a law enforcement officer, the Crossover from Correctional Officer to Law Enforcement Officer program will expand on the skills you already have and train you in areas such as criminal and traffic investigations, and vehicle operations and patrol to prepare you for the State Law Enforcement exam. Whatever training you choose, it takes an exceptional person who puts the welfare of others before their own to enter the law enforcement profession.
