Transportation

Employers compete for our trained drivers, offering higher wages, sign-on bonuses and preferred assignments. Your eight-week program prepares you for Florida state testing and obtaining your CDL license. You’ll master safe driving techniques, accumulating over 800 miles of individual behind-the-wheel driving in various traffic, weather and road conditions. You’ll also learn how to perform a thorough pre-trip safety inspection of your rig; how to secure various cargoes on different types of trailers; how to maintain trip and maintenance logs; and how to use satellite communication and the Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
